my parents and brother were there in 1987, I remember a lot of their comments, it's a great place.
Besides all the stuff about the falls already mentioned by ledgies, don't miss Toronto, I guess it's not so far and my parents were delighted with that city.
ps.. If you can try some day IGUAZU FALLS (Argentina-Brazil), I've been there and it's really really WONDERFUL.
