I really don't understand why Ethan couldn't have been given a break. There is no law that says people have to sign up here and make this their permanent family for the rest of their lives. He said he was going to hang out here for a little while, so what. Even if he stated it in a way that put people off, he made clear that wasn't his intention, and he still got bashed.
I don't care what he has done on other boards. If he's a crappy poster, he will soon be ignored. If he's a poster worthy of being banned, that's why we have moderators. If he's a good poster, then it would be nice if he could be allowed to show that.
