I love the 80's because it was a VERY eclectic decade, new wave, pop, heavy metal, country was prominent and there are so many different kinds of rock..soft rock, pop rock, arena rock, hard rock...etc.
I just heard Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" and cranked that sucker up! Also, Kim Wilde's "Keep Me Hangin On", THAT is also a crank it up song!!
Anywho, back to the OSOTM, yep, Sorcerer, she def took a unique direction with this album, and I agree with the whole Tusk comparison, it's very strong lyrically and musically and just a very strong album, I'm loving it!!
