I'm looking forward to seeing next week. I don't know how long I can stomach a Lorelai-Chris relationship, but I'm going to try.

i pretty much stopped watching it last season after the whole long lost daughter bit. as a viewer, you knew they were going to have to throw some sort of a wrench into the whole luke/lorelai relationship or else, you basically wouldn't have a show anymore. however, the whole dna testing bit really turned me off and i thought it was pretty much ridiculous.
that said, i watched last night without very high expectations. it was nice to finally not be annoyed by rory though i wanted to punch lorelai in the face a few times -- especially since you could feel her blurting out that she slept with chris coming from a mile away.
it's been said that the relationship will be like this for most of the season due in part to the fact that scott patterson and lauren graham apparently don't get along in real life.
anyone else hear this?
