I had an interesting morning...
After class, I was waiting outside for a ride where I usually do, right across the street from the uni. There are about three houses on this little street, and normally what I do is walk down and lean against this huge rought iron fence until my mom shows.
So, I'm standing there, minding my own business, listening to my music. Out of the corner of my eye, I notice a woman coming out of the house. I think nothing of it, and completely ignore her. Next thing I know, I feel a little poke in my back. I take off my earphones, and she goes, "Uh, we've had problems with this fence?", like I should know what that means. I just looked at her, totally confused, so she says again, "PROBLEMS with this FENCE, thank you"
Got the hint, thanks. I just snapped, "Oh,
really? All right then" and backed off of her stupid fence.
Let me get this straight: I can understand the fence is technically her property. But, I'm on the other side of her lawn, with little more than my ass against this precious piece of metal, which is a wee bit taller than I am - and I'm pretty short - and she feels like jabbing me in the back and telling me to move? I wasn't even
doing anything. I wasn't sawing away at it, or climbing it, or throwing stuff into her yard. And I was by myself! Right, better watch the **** out.
Am I nuts, or is was this chick being an unnecessary bitch?
