Mine was more love than hate
. He was only speaking his mind with regard to Stevie..he thought she'd become a tired imitation of what she used to be, and that's his opinion and that's fine if he wants to voice it. He employed a cunning, witty rhetorical strategy, and usually backed up his opinions logically and persuasively. I see no error in that, in fact, I appreciate and admire it. He definitely added spice to this place, so yeah, I still miss him too.
