Well, once again, he attacked our ally, openly hated us, failed to comply with the UN, and he used WMD on his own people - to me, and apparently the world, that suggested the world take a closer look at whether he still had those WMD he'd used once before.
It was his unwillingness to prove otherwise that did him in. You play with fire and you are going to get burned.
Also, I agree those countries are huge threats. But, they did not really have the whole UN resoution violation in place, which made it easier to do in Iraq.
