Melissa is on par with Tina Turner in energy as a performer. There are few things live that have the electricity of "Like The Way I Do" in concert. It rivals the 70's Rhiannon performances in sheer passion and craziness. Still. I kind of had a falling out with Melissa's voice a few years ago. All of a sudden, it became too much for me - too over the top. But I will come around again I am sure. I have seen her lots of times and luckily about 6 years ago got to decorate a backstage xmas party for her in LA. Nutty. Again, a very sweet person. Absolutely sincere and down to earth. I do love the woman.
I am so thankful to have met her. She is the real deal with a lot of guts and talent and I was thrilled to tell her that.
