Lawrence E. King Jr., the main figure in the Franklin Credit Union scandal in Omaha more than a decade ago, has left prison and apparently is planning to live near Washington, D.C.
King was released from federal prison in Colorado on Tuesday after serving nearly 10 years of a 15-year sentence.
~ i do know he had a wife who was prominent here also & she was in our women's prison for meth, she moved out of the state upon her release from prison, i am pretty sure they divorced~ it is all still brought up from time to time~ last week 1 of our 5 o'clock news channels had johnny's mom on it, they retraced what they think happened that day & showed her holding the pictures that were at her front door, they looked to be 8x10 size~ the mom seems to think they came from some one connected to all this, such as another victim like her son was & that they risked their life going to her home & leaving these~ the reported said something to the effect that they think they case is about to be blown wide open
