It's a shame her new album hasn't done better though, it's the best thing she's done in a long time. Her pop experiment, the previous album 0304, obviously really backfired and a lot of fans deserted her.

Yes, I too am shocked about the Tom Petty album selling so few - it really is an awesome record! My personal favourite of Tom's.
I have to disagree about Jewel though. She is a huge star outside of the States - all of her previous albums have done extremely well, but this new album has flopped big time. I don't think I even sold one copy....
I do agree with the desertion of fans though - 0304 was a big mistake.....
