Dude, I don't know if sports are getting more competitive, or if people don't know how to act, or if society if just getting more violent. This kind of thing happens all too often lately.
We had a guy come into the clinic. He's 36 years old, plays on an amateur hocky league. Apparently, he checked a 23 year old player & that player's father didn't like it. The father (who was in his 40's) attacked him after the game. He bit him on the side of the neck & wouldn't let go.
Took 3 guys to pull him off our patient. This poor guy had a dark purple bruise approx. 4 inched in diameter on his neck, really gross & painful.
