ragandbone-oh! I hope the little opposum made it. That is so sad. It is definately hard when you are so helpless and don't know what to do .
Somedays I want to take a part-time job at a vet or something just so I have the skill to save all these animals I pick up. Or at least have the good sense to leave a rabid dog alone.
sammigold-I have tried to save birds also. They almost never make it for some reason. I seriously think they are the hardest ones to save
bretonbanquet-oh, I don't discriminate either. Well, except snakes. But spiders don't bother me. I"ve acutally pulled over on the shoulder of a highway because a grasshopper was on my windshield and couldnt get off because I was going so fast. did I mention I'm also crazy??
and that rabbit story was so touching. Sounds SO like something I would do-except I don't have a semi to stop traffic. But I WOULD!! ha ha
