Wow - the waiting on the word about Cash must be agonizing!
I've been very lucky - Clancy was 9 when I got her - so that would make her 10ish now - but she's still in good health.
Although yesterday she was attacked by another dog at our apartment complex
It was completely unprovoked - Clancy was sniffing a flower and I was standing next to her when all of a sudden this brown mutt comes from behind and just starts trying to rip my dog apart!!
The owner came running and I was trying to pull the dog away from Clancy - the dog stopped then lunged again - this time biting biting biting - Clancy started to wail and looked at me as if to say, "Help me, mama!" I was SO freaked out....I finally pried that jerk dog away from mine - tossed it over to its owner and started to check Clancy for wounds.
No broken skin (thank goodness) but my moo was totally freaked out (as was I). Because the attack was unprovoked I went ahead and reported it - what if a kid had been sniffing the flower instead of Clancy?
Anyway - some people just shouldn't have pets
