They have a the Taste of MN every July as well, usually around the 4th with fireworks every night...the whole shebang. Not a bad way to spend an evening, and watching all of the fanny pack-clad Nordics wandering about with BBQ sauce on their chins is a sight to behold.
The best part is all of the free music. They usually get some pretty big names to play a show. Blondie was here on the Camp Funtime 2002 tour, and there have been others. I think Alice Cooper was here for this year's Taste.
