I don't like big crowds, either. Also, one time i went to halloween in the city - and it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. No bathrooms, really hard to get a beer, walking up and down steep hills all night, freezing cold....
This parade looks like more fun, though - at least it is stationary (no traversing the hills) and in warmer weather. I'll make it sometime.
