Something to ponder... if the Others do know exactly how to leave the island, why would they stay? One of my theories is that they're there because they feel that whatever it is they're doing (which, of course, is still one of the mysteries of the series) is important to the greater good.
So perhaps in their determination, they believe the ends justify the means -- which is why they're not above killing those they feel would be detrimental to their cause, and recruiting (by whatever means necessary) those they feel would aid them.
Can't wait for Season Three!

Lost is my absolute favorite show. I've heard that in Season 3 we will be seeing a lot of the others, so hopefully we'll get some more clues as to if they're good or bad and what they're up to.
Has anyone been following the "clues" that were aired as commercials during the last couple episodes? The ones that were about Hanso? There are supposed to be little "clues" all summer, and I don't have time over the summer to become obsessed with something else!
But then, who does?!?!
