Amen sister. I love open toed sandals and mules! I get what you're talking about though Strand, and I like to refer to
those kinds of flip-flops as shower shoes, you know the kind you buy in the drugstore that are cheap, flimsy and made mostly of foam and plastic? Yeah, those should not be worn "out" but people like to pass them off as if they're real shoes. I don't know about anyone else, but I would be afraid of stepping on something that might make it's way through the flimsy foam sole!
