Are you originally from Chicago? I grew up in the far south suburbs, close to the Indiana border. I can totally picture the woman you're talking about! I never realized what caricatures south suburbanites are until I moved to the north side. I think my hair deflated by default as soon as I moved out of the burbs! South suburban girls are the real Jersey girls. I think they actually probably better fit the stereotype some people have about Jersey girls.
