Mine was Styx - Mr. Roboto (dad bought it for my bro & me.) Wham! Make It Big was the first album just for me. Then my brother scratched it. Bastard.

My first album was Elton John's Greatest Hits, Xmas 4th grade. I remember my first five albums really well, as I used to lay them out and gaze at them, and cream of the collection growing, until I could no longer easily count. These were all purchased in 5th grade:
2. Kiss "Destroyer" (wanted that power ballad, "Beth")
3. ELO "New World Record"
4. Fleetwood Mac "Rumours"
5. Steve Miller Band "Book of Dreams"
Jyqm Do you remember the first song you played on the air?
