I never knew the difference between a song and a track... now let me try to see if i remember.... a track is something that you cannot recreate the song with variables... doesn't sound the same in any other format other than what is on the album for example. And a song is something you can take away, change the tempo or vary instruments and it still sounds true. ... Am i close?

i think you're on the right track (pun not intended) ... i think david's just saying that "love changes" is a great composition while "it's only love" is great because of how it was put together on the album. (please correct me if i'm wrong, david!)
