I hadn't heard about his aide making a deal. All I've been hearing is that supposedly Abramoff had "cleared" DeLay of wrongdoing ... somehow. Back room whispers and such reported as fact.
And, sadly, you can't buy lottery tix after 9:00 PM here - but I'm getting one tomorrow for sure. Surely there will still be a little magic left in the morning.
