It did hit cairns but luckily it still didn't manage the damage of Tracy back on Xmas Day (I've forgotten the year though) in Darwin.
As far as I know all our Ledgies live south of Cairns like has already been said.

That Cyclone was stornger than Katrina,which hit NewOrleans last year. Where did it make landfall? do you know?
