David, oh David. You're so analytical. While Christine is, hands down, my favorite, these past few years, I'm NOT afraid to say something negative about her.....here you go....I've never cared much for Warm Ways, or Only Over You, or Mystified. They're okay songs, but I don't love them.
You always want me to go on, ad infinitum, about WHY I love Chris. The following is from your next paragraph:

See, THIS is why I love her. Because it's NOT about fanaticism, about some idiot singer's PERSONALITY, over the quality of their work. What you see, is what you get. The fact that she could mix in, as my next door neighbor, only endears her more to me. The fact that I would be very nervous, meeting her, maybe has something to do with being a huge fan, since 7th grade. When I don't follow FM, I usually follow alt-country. Inane crap like...."how they dance", just isn't important to me anymore(actually is a major turnoff). Give me a nice voice, doing a nice song, and I'm happy. When a bunch of extraneous bull**** gets involved, I lose interest pretty quickly.

I love her. I don't worship her. Worship is for gods. I'm not real big on that stuff!
And, as is often the case, for the past few months, I've had family staying at my house. I don't know about you, but when someone is talking to me 24/freaking 7, "I" find it hard to really come up with a decent response, trying to block their incessant blather out. So, I might opt for a, Bah, bah, bah!
Would that I could, I, once upon a time, might have been as analytical as you. I killed that guy. He just thought too much. He died a very painless death!
