I think there may be something more to it. . . . While I still feel that Stevie isn't
as wealthy as some people view her - sorry but Bill Gates she's not, there's LITERALLY thousands of people in the U.S. alone who are MANY times wealthier than she - she still is, bottom-line, an extremely wealthy person. While "something of a dreamer," I'm sure she's pretty realistic about what the "statistics" would predict about someone in her position ( Big Wealthy Famous Busy Rock Star ) - getting married - whether it would last over the long term. Stevie has worked and fought HARD for whatever money she does have, and it's VERY important to her because - well, let's just say she almost certainly is big on "generational wealth" and leave it at that. That trailer on the hill left a
mark, i.m.o. I really do feel that it's almost 100% that the things her grandfather taught her weren't exactly done idly -
this guy was "smarter than he looked." She also wants to donate large amounts of money to charity - City of Hope, Arizona Heart Institute, etc., and now I guess also for the soldiers. This stuff runs VERY deep and it would be very hard for Stevie to even take a chance of not being able to do these things to the degree she wants (and has been taught to...).
