I unplugged it from the computer and put it on and went to artists and NOTHING, then albums and NOTHING...I turned it off and then turned it on again and still NOTHING. So I plug it back up to the CPU and when iTunes pops up it shows that there are no songs on my iPod. 
But I did have a lot of my files backed up on the computer so I am basically back to where I was, and I have had no problems today... |
another word of caution...watch out for those updates...I updated mine and it fried my iPod
