I just figured out the ending when I put it in about a month ago. I never knew at the end that Rose died and was going to her "heaven". I always thought, that the end sequence was some sort of dream to the Old Rose. To Me that is one of the best endings of a movie ever...I just love it.
Kate Winslet is astounding in this and she is one of my favorite actresses. I love all her movies.

Duuurrrrr..... Hahahaha....oh man...that was great. Anyway, to answer the original question: The movie sucked then and it sucks now.
