I watched Jimmy Carter on Larry King recently. He reiterated how simple it is to do this legally. I understand the need for national security, and I will support the eavesdropping issue if someone can offer legitimate reasoning for it. I just don't understand how the few minutes it would take to obtain the warrant would risk our security. And I'm not stupid....they can immediately start the wiretap, then call the judge if necessary. Why do they not want it known? Even by a judge.
Anyway, I'm glad they're looking in to it.
