Unfortunately nowhere does that thread directly address the question: Why would rules apply differently to people depending on who it was?
It really doesn't sound fair the way you said it. No disrespect intended, I'm sure you didn't mean it unfairly, unfortunately all I have to judge from right now is the exact words you used.
Perhaps you only mean the variance in rule application to apply to the very few people who know each other well and tease each other possibly using words that coming out of anyone else would be construed as an insult? I'm sure that's what you meant.
In any case, I would have thought twice about saying publicly that I consider the rules should
not be applied as one size does fits all, the same for everyone. Because then a**holes like me will ask you about it, and others may take it the wrong way.
