The problem is that it is not Oscar worthy. Oscars need to set the standard for amazing films. If they lower their standard, that leaves room for more and more crap.

or
Cinderella Man
But it's marketing, folks. Plain and simple. Lion's Gate sent the most screener's out for Crash. It's in your face. It works.

Alright, please explain to me why it sucked. I thought that every series of scenes, characters etc, was truthful, although maybe a little heavy handed. But what, racism shouldn't be addressed in such a manner?
Besides, to be honest, I thought that Joaquin's performance in WTL was too effeminant for Johnny. But that's a whole other thread.
Thoughts?
