It's his worst piece of work indeed IMHO.
The whole point of George's work, to me anyway, is simplicity and emotion. Lindsey's version fails on both counts.
Lindsey's interpretation of Travis picking is both enlightening and musically uplifting in his own work. But I don't really think it works that well on covers although I Am Waiting is not too bad I guess..
Oh, on a personal note, I've decided to return to The Ledge in a restricted capacity (Peter Green & LB forums only) when I have the time after a few rather nice Ledgies expressed that my knowledge was missed here (you know who you are guys
