No argueing here.
but let's be fair: it was 1984, and you can't say that the guy just brought out a sell-out commercial album. That his lifelong struggle between total independence and fullblown hitmachinerie is what makes him what he is, does not make his inner struggle bull****. So in interviews he'll always focus on the artistic side. The rest of the band does not.....so.....
