why did you put her on your list? I'm the only one who includes her. I include her for being essentially the finest beat poet of the early 1980s. Songs like "Traces of the Western Slopes" & "The Weird Beast" put her squarely in the Kerouac/Asbery tradition. But she hijacked her own career & now releases on independents, playing jazz festivals & theaters & scrambling for an audience.
