Now, I never had a real mother around, my real mother left us when I was 5, and I lived with my dad ever since. Her Mom was my Mom too, in a way. Needless to say, we were all devastated, and still are, so Christmas for us this year is no fun. But when is it ever right?

My sister had to move away from here. I am in my early 20's, I have my own apartment, but not a stable income, so I wasn't a proper candidate to get custody over her. She went to live with a good friend of her Mom's, which is about 3 hours away from here. It's hard considering we used to see each other everyday.

She is coming here for Christmas though, at least for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day she will spend with her Mom's brother and her grandmother. So, this year I made her something really special. I had about 40 of the best, most memorable or just plain cute pictures that I have of us, going from when she was a baby (I was around 8 then) to where we are now, and I am going to cut them so that I can turn them into a collage, which she can then hang up in her room.

Corny you say? I really don't care. She will love it.
not corny gofts like that can be fabulous & VERY thoughtful!!!~
