I see your point. Actually, I like reading romance novels (and am in the finishing stages of my own romance novel - though it's not typical of the genre by any means) and the fact that these fanfic stories are about real people isn't what bothered me about them (obviously, since I even wrote one myself... :cough: :cough: but we won't go there.

). My biggest gripe was the poor quality of much of the writing, but also the constant depictions of Kristen Buckingham as the "evil woman" or stories involving her death. Another irritating fact is that most Fleetwood Mac fanfiction writers seem to have tunnel vision. If it isn't strictly a love story between Stevie and Lindsey, it's not worthwhile to them.
