I wish people wouldn't murder other people.
I also don't like the idea of the death penalty, which is state-sanctioned & state-carried-out killing. I believe that's an abuse of power on the part of the state. The state should be kept on a much shorter leash. With the state going around snuffing out its own citizens, you feel as if you were in nazi Germany or stalinist Russia.
Where do some people get the idea that they have this sort of power over other people?
