yes, the grammys are ridiculous. Its purely a popularity contest. You either have to sell a huge amount (even though your album could be appauling - "The Emancipation of Mimi" comes to mind), or you ahve to have something tragic happen to you, like Foxy Brown is nominated for "Come Fly With Me" for best rap female, which doesn't even have a video or an album, purely because shes making headlines because she has gone deaf!
