Well, I don't know if it is, but what I don't like about John Shanks productions is that when he uses acoustic guitars, they sound like their strings are made of tin. This way they sound cold and harsh instead of warm and soothing.
I think Rick Rubin is a good choice for her - maybe there will be some Heartbreakers guesting on the record.
