Hey, but at least he got his own show!
I always liked Angel (and liked watching David Boreanaz's evolution as an actor over the course of his tenure on both shows), but I was glad to see him leave
Buffy. The Buffy-Angel plotline had reached a natural conclusion, and to try and milk too much more drama out of it would have just come of as contrived, I think. Part of me wishes they'd done the same with Spike at some point.
