It's certainly allowed, it was just catty and rude and something that should have been brought up in a PM instead of trying to rally others with your not-so-cryptic post of, "Doesn't anybody else think that you-know-who...?" and then patting yourself on the back in vindication when one or two people agreed with you in private.
Of course, the thread was taken down, giving you ample opportunity to simply take it to PMs, but here we are again!
