How are you possibly misunderstanding it that way? He is not saying, "Rich people are assholes." He is saying, "Rich people who raise their children to be spoiled brats who expect to have every luxury handed to them are assholes, as are those children."
Do yourself a favor and tune in sometime. These people are, quite frankly, bad human beings.
