So, I think that is where the problem is. And, you are so correct in noting the hypocrisy. How many of the Pentacostal/Evangelicals out there preach hate against gays and adulterers on Sunday and are not practicing what they preach on Sunday night. Then, it is the same thing with far right conservative politicians. I mean they took us to war in Iraq and lied to do so. Then, when anyone questioned that war, they made up lies to smear them. How is that in any way Christian? So, for me, other than going to my local church to hear the music (which is gorgeous) - I have little use for organized religion, which is not the same as my use for God.
