There is absolutely hope for you, and for anyone else going through these things.
Trust me, I didn't think I'd EVER get to a place where I could say that I loved myself and that I was proud of who I am. My self-esteem was all but non-existant. And the slightest anti-gay comment from someone would crush me, and I'd be depressed about it for days or weeks. I very easily could have been another suicide statistic.
It's why I get so passionate about that kind of stuff now... I hate to see anyone else going through that God-awful self-doubt and utter self-hatred.
