Well, as awful as that is, I'd take it over any kind of snake. I once had a first aid and safety class, and we were learning about what to do if you get bit by a snake. I raised my hand and asked when we would be covering what to do if you have a heart attack, because anyhow I get bit by a snake, I'm having one.

The one from the shower I called in reinforcements to handle. The one under my sons bed I grabbed a huge pair of his boots that didn't even fit him yet and I slapped the sucker down as hard as I could.....and the legs were sticking out of the bottom. The worst was this one in the basement, we were sitting there talking than my husband says "Don't move, just don't move I'll take care of it." It was like two feet from us and he went to hit it with a hammer, and missed!! It was horrible, the thing was zipping around this one foot radius and he was just wacking away missing it every time. Finally he got it and me and my sister in law were practically hanging from the floor boards by that point. You just have to ask yourself "Do I wanna kill it and get it over with, or do I wanna look in the mirror tomorrow morning and find it latched to my forhead?" When you look at it that way it'a alot easier, LOL! Now snakes I don't mind at all, I've played with them since I was little. I've been bit about a dozen times so it doesn't really phase me (garderner snakes ofcourse).
