I make a soundtrack playlist for myself every week or so on iTunes- whatever I'm really digging on, and it often either sets the tone for that period of time or reflects it. I never worry about repeating artists multiple times or anything like that.
This is the most current one:
Life on Mars?- David Bowie
Yellow- Coldplay
Bring It On Home To Me- Sam Cooke
Fade Into You- Mazzy Star
Stars and Boulevards- Augustana
Tangerine- Led Zeppelin
You Send Me- Sam Cooke
Life on Mars? Seu Jorge
Breathe Me- Sia
Orange Sky- Alexi Murdoch
Soul Meets Body- Death Cab for Cutie
Long Time Coming- Delays
My Winding Wheel- Ryan Adams
Rest In Peace- Spike/BTVS soundtrack (shut. up.)
Cupid- Sam Cooke
I Hear The Bells- Mike Doughty
Wonderful World- Sam Cooke
Dice- Finley Quaye
Nocturn- Kate Bush
In The Sun- Joseph Arthur
Caught by the River- Doves
Come Pick Me Up- Ryan Adams
