The only difference between how they sound NOW as to THEN is that they sound like they're playing TOGETHER AS A UNIT now instead of just taking off on stoned-out, self-absorbed, never-ending solos (which I used to love, but then I was in the same condition)...they complement each others solos, they intertwine their solos with each others playing. It is just so weird to think that they HAVEN'T been playing together (except for the 3 song performance at their R&RHoF induction) for the past 37, that's right THIRTY-SEVEN, years!!! They sound like they HAVE been rehearsing 8 hrs a day, 7 days a week for the past 37 years.

I've seen clips (on-line) of two or three whole songs from the DVD...LOOKS great!!! On the DVD you get an extra song ("Sitting On Top Of The World") that is not on the CD...as well as bonus alternate performances of 6 songs from their set from other nights of the 4 night stand.

Thanks for all the info! It is much appreciated. I'm just glad to know that the reviews were true. I will definitely be on my way to Borders to purchase it; now that I have talked to you.

After we have a chance to absorb all of it, we'll have to talk about it.
