I didn't think she was trying to re-define criticism. Not to speak for people, but it seemed that she was saying she enjoyed reading that particular critique despite the fact that she disagreed with some points. That specific part of her response seemed to be about whether or not she appreciated the post, not questioning whether or not it fit your flowery description of criticism.

Okay, yeah, you were just axing for that.
