The only viable defense the poilce have is that the man resisted arrest, which the film somewhat demonstrates as he is fighting not to be cuffed. I think the black jury in Orleans Parish will have no problem convicting these cops if for nothing else, they have probabkly been harrassed by the police more than one time in the past.
