This also applies to their prejudices as well, a la gay marriage. Most people think everyone should have equal rights, yet Rove successfully framed the issue as gay people invading Christian territory, which was not in any way what the debate was about. He did this because he knew most people do not like gay people asserting their gayness in public.

I agree. And now: bird flu. Yet when anyone asks the administration the obvious question: "What is being done to prevent the disease?", no one gives a clear answer. Especially since we've all been hearing about bird flu for years and years. And remember SARS?
