One of the funniest mis-captions I've seen was for a Family Guy episode. In one of their trademark non-sequitirs, they spoofed a Mentos commercial where John Wilkes Booth missed shooting Lincoln, then had a mint. Lois said the commercials were getting more and more stupid, but Peter was hypnotized and stood up chanting "Must Kill Lincoln!!!" However, the caption read "Must Kill Clinton". |
Have you ever watched Malcolm In the Middle with the CC on? If not, you haven't lived. They always seem to fudge up everything Lois says. I caught a rerun of the red dress episode over the summer (the one where Hal sets her dress on fire, throws it in the toilet, and she thinks the boys did it) and she said to Malcolm "Have a soda, it's a brand name." The captions read "Have a soda, it's a bran muffin."
