I don't blame him. Why would he want to be stigmatized as the "gay anchor"? If I were him, I'd hate to have people tune in just to point at my perfectly coiffed hair or sense of fashion and say "Look at the gay anchor" instead of paying attention to what I'm reporting and actually doing on the show.

I dunno...people who refuse to say they're gay annoy the hell out of me. I can't imagine being in a relationship with someone like that.

He's attractive, but he's too much of a pretty boy for my taste. Mo Rocca is definitely more my type.
